I have found there are two sorts of attitudes amongst B2B technology companies to the value of appearing prominently on Google.

The good news for most tech firms is that it is pretty straight forward for them to get to the top of Google for the sorts of searches their business prospects will use.
Part of the reason for this is because their targets, when in search and buying mode, use quite specific search terms and part of it is because their competitors are often not active in this area... making the job much easier!
