I have found there are two sorts of attitudes amongst lawyers to the value of appearing prominently on Google.
There are those businesses that don't think it is worthwhile, do not spend much effort on it and, not surprisingly, this becomes a self fulfilling prophecy... with their website attracting little traffic and few relevant leads.
By contrast, there are those practitioners who consider it important, that invest a bit of time and effort,
and for them too it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, this time with their website working hard and generating a flow of relevant leads because of all the extra visits from prospects.
Getting to the top of Google - why it is easy for law firms
The good news for most law firms, especially those that target businesses, is that it is pretty straight forward for them to get to the top of Google for the sorts of searches their prospects will use.
Part of the reason for this is because their targets, when in search and buying mode, use quite specific search terms and part of it is because their competitors are often not active in this area... making the job much easier!

But finding the time is always a problem for busy partners. That is where our straightforward approach can be applied by practices small and large.
Also, it doesn't involve the need for you to have any technical knowledge about websites (indeed, if you have little technical knowledge it provides you with the information you need to give clear direction and instructions to your web managers).
